Call for papers

2012-12-20 12:00

It has been nearly seven years since re:publica began thinking about the effects and implications of digital media and technologies, and since then we have seen significant changes. Not only have we seen the ushering in of the digital society – we have the chance to be active participants in shaping and influencing its future.

IN/SIDE/OUT, motto of re:publica 2013, describes this very processes of transformation and growth and asks questions as to place and direction of the individual in relation to the whole. As in every year, we invite all free thinkers and pioneers to enrich the re:publica programme with their ideas, projects, research and activism. As one of the biggest, and certainly one of the most exciting, European conferences on the subject, re:publica provides the stage to present your excellent, exceptional and audacious ideas.

We offer: 8 stages and an engaged audience for your session (presentation, workshop or panel discussion). Join us, from 6 – 8 May 2013, in Berlin when we open our doors to over 5,000 international guests and hundreds of speakers. Our new event location at STATON-Berlin proved itself last year and will once again be the backdrop to re:publica this year.

We want: Your idea, your vision, your project – creative, ambitious and, of course, re:levant. It's up to you how you wish to host your session: as a presentation, discussion or practice-oriented workshop. All you have to do is apply now to the Call for Papers.

When: You have up until 31 January to register here and create your own account profile. Use this profile to present your session-idea.
